The kit uses a two-part epoxy system supplied as RadiatorWeld Part A resin and Part B hardener, supported by a 28 g epoxy adhesive and a 5 cm x 15 cm fibreglass reinforcing cloth, plus sandpaper and an applicator. Once mixed and cured, the epoxy is chemical resistant and withstands temperatures up to 250�F, repairing cracks up to 4 inches long and holes up to 1\/4 to 3\/8 inch in diameter. The formulation is suitable for radiators and tanks made from aluminium, copper-brass, most plastics and other metals, but is not recommended for polyethylene or polypropylene. The kit sets in around 5 minutes and cures in approximately 4 hours, allowing on-vehicle repairs without removing the radiator or tank.
