The Bendix Check Valve Bendix K114066 is an SC-3 single check valve used in heavy-duty air brake systems to control airflow direction and protect system pressure. The valve uses a 90� brass elbow body with a 1/2 inch push-to-connect inlet and a 1/2-14 NPTF male outlet, supplied with pre-applied thread sealant to simplify installation and help minimise leaks. It is a compact component, weighing around 0.35 kg, with overall dimensions suited to undercarriage and tight chassis locations. Operating between -40 �F and 250 �F (-40 �C to 121 �C), it suits a wide range of on-road conditions. The valve allows air to flow in one direction only and is used to prevent loss of remaining reservoir pressure if another hose or tank fails. Supplied new as an aftermarket part, it can replace earlier Bendix SC-1 and SC-2 single check valves and is commonly used in fleet maintenance of trucks and trailers.
