The Bendix E6 Valve - Special Freightliner is an E-6 foot brake valve used to control service brakes in heavy-duty truck air brake systems. The unit features dual delivery circuits with 3/8-18 NPT ports for 21 and 22, and dual 3/8-18 NPT supply ports for 11 and 12, providing flexible plumbing options in Freightliner and other commercial vehicle installations. A 1/2-14 NPT exhaust port with 90 degree elbow manages exhaust air, while the valve body mounts via three 5/16-18 UNC-3B threaded points. The valve operates with a 3.0 psi differential pressure and uses a rubber graduation spring for consistent modulation. It functions in ambient temperatures from -40 deg F to 200 deg F, meeting FMVSS 121 requirements for air brake performance. Supplied without a pedal or mounting plate, it is intended as an aftermarket new replacement component for existing E-6 style foot brake valve assemblies in fleet and workshop maintenance programs.
