The Penrite PEN-LTEZORB050 Lightning E-Zorb Peat Moss Oil Absorb 50L is an all-natural, 100% organic industrial spill absorbent made from peat moss, capable of absorbing up to 10 times its own weight in oils, solvents, fuels, paints, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and other organic chemicals. The natural capillary structure of the peat moss produces a powerful wicking action that fully encapsulates contaminants on contact, suppressing vapours and reducing combustion risk in the process. Non-toxic, non-abrasive, and non-leaching, it is quick and straightforward to apply - spread from approximately 150mm above the spill and sweep with a stiff broom until the liquid is fully absorbed. Once used, the saturated material can be bagged and disposed of in landfill or incinerated without detrimental environmental effects.
