The Haldex RG2 Relay Valve KN28520P is a compact air brake relay valve used in heavy-duty truck and trailer service brake systems. It operates as an RG-2 style valve with two 1/2 inch NPT supply ports and two 1/2 inch NPT delivery ports to manage air flow between the reservoir and brake chambers. A 1/4 inch NPT control or service port, positioned 90 degrees to the delivery ports, receives the signal from the brake valve to trigger rapid brake application and release. The valve body measures approximately 3-1/2 by 3-5/8 inches with mounting holes on 1.5 inch centres and 0.35 inch diameter, allowing flexible mounting in confined chassis locations. Constructed from corrosion-resistant metal, it is suited to demanding commercial vehicle environments. With a crack pressure around 5.5 to 5.6 PSI, it provides consistent response and is interchangeable with a wide range of KN28520-series and cross-referenced part numbers for maintenance and replacement work.
