The Ancra 13mm Grade 80 Hammerlock is a heavy-duty connector link that joins lengths of 13mm Grade 80 chain or attaches end fittings such as hooks, swivels, and rings without compromising the chain's working load. It solves a common problem with thicker chain — the inner link dimensions are often too tight to slip additional components onto directly — by acting as a robust intermediate connector that takes hooks, multiple links, or other fittings cleanly. The two-piece design (tapered shaft and sleeve) assembles and disassembles by hand and a tap with a hammer, which makes in-field reconfiguration of heavy chain assemblies practical without specialised tooling. Manufactured from heavy-duty steel with a yellow finish for visibility and corrosion resistance, it carries a 5,400kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS3776.
