The Ancra 7mm-8mm Grade 80 Hammerlock is a connector link that joins lengths of 7mm or 8mm Grade 80 chain, or attaches end fittings such as hooks, swivels, and rings without sacrificing the chain's working load. Unlike traditional connecting links that require special tooling, the hammerlock assembles and disassembles by hand and a tap with a hammer — its two-piece body comprises a tapered shaft and a sleeve that press together, making in-field repairs and assembly reconfiguration practical. Manufactured from heavy-duty steel with a yellow finish for visibility and corrosion resistance, it carries a 2,000kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS3776, the Australian Standard for short-link chain components.
