The Ancra 8mm Winged Chain Grab Hook Grade 70 is a heavy-duty tie-down hook designed to attach to 8mm Grade 70 transport chain assemblies or replace worn or damaged hooks on existing loadbinders. Cradles built into both sides of the outer jaws prevent the chain from deforming under load during tensioning, which preserves the chain's full lashing capacity and extends its service life. A deep, narrow throat makes it easy to drop onto an anchor point and seat a chain link cleanly, while the wings give a positive hold that resists accidental release under load. Manufactured from steel with an electroplated gold finish for corrosion resistance, it carries a 3,800kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001. Note: this hook is rated for tie-down use only and is not suitable for lifting applications.
