The Gates Hose Clamp - S/S 22-32MM 32312 is a stainless steel silicone hose clamp used to secure coolant and other soft-wall hoses on heavy-duty trucks, buses and vehicular equipment. This clamp uses a 300 series stainless steel band, screw and housing to resist corrosion and withstand demanding under-bonnet conditions. It is an SAE size 12 clamp with a clamping range from 0.875 to 1.25 inches, matching typical 5/8 to 3/4 inch silicone hose sizes, and features a wide 9/16 inch band to increase clamping surface on soft hose materials. The inner liner band is engineered to prevent hose cover extrusion, while the four-piece, 100% mechanical interlock construction maintains strength and torque capacity. A 5/16 inch hex head screw with deep slot allows tightening with a screwdriver, nut driver or socket. Supplied in boxes of 10, the clamp is suited to cooling system and general engine bay hose connections where a secure, durable silicone hose clamp is required.
