The Gates 32340 Hose Clamp is a heavy-duty hose clamp used to secure soft silicone coolant hoses in transport and industrial applications. The clamp suits hose inside diameters from 2 inch to 2.5 inch, with an adjustable clamping range from 2.0625 inch to 3 inch, making it suitable for a wide range of 52–76 mm hose connections. It features a 300 series stainless steel band, screw and housing to resist corrosion, with a wide 9/16 inch (14 mm) band and inner-liner that help prevent hose cover extrusion on soft silicone hose. The four-piece, 100 percent mechanical interlock construction provides added strength and torque capability, while the 5/16 inch hex head with deep slot allows tightening with a screwdriver, nut driver or socket. Supplied as a single clamp, the 32340 is commonly used on heavy duty trucks, buses and vehicular equipment cooling systems where a secure, long-lasting silicone hose connection is required.
