The Stemco Hub Seal D22 - K22 is a Guardian HP trailer axle wheel seal engineered to retain lubricant and protect 19,000 lb trailer hubs from contamination. Built around a 4.00 in shaft diameter and 5.75 in housing bore, this seal provides a precise fit for trailer axles using inner bearing cup/cone 653/663 and outer bearing cup/cone 553X/560 or HM212011/HM212049. The seal features an approximate width of 0.60 in, supporting correct hub set-up and consistent clamping of the bearing set. It is installed using Stemco tools 555-0001 handle/body and 555-5100 axle tool head to ensure accurate, damage-free seating in the hub.
