The Loctite LOC44092 Loctite 243 Medium Strength Threadlocker 50mL is a blue, general-purpose threadlocker designed to prevent fastener loosening on vibrating assemblies. It provides a medium-strength bond and works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces. Its improved formulation cures through light oil contamination from industrial oils, motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids while maintaining reliable performance on metal fasteners. The Loctite 243 Threadlocker allows disassembly with ordinary hand tools, making it suitable for secure fastening where future servicing is required.
