The JB Weld Green Threadlocker 29006 Perma-Lock low viscosity thread locking compound is used to secure and seal threaded fasteners in automotive, mechanical and industrial applications. This anaerobic liquid is supplied in a 6 ml container and is applied to assembled fasteners, screws and electrical connectors where it wicks between the threads. The green penetrating grade formula can be used on pre-assembled parts and is suited to fasteners from 1/2 inch to 2 inch, helping prevent loosening from shock and vibration on vehicles, machinery and body assemblies. It is temperature resistant to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and is specified as a low strength, low viscosity threadlocker that sets in around 20 minutes and reaches full cure in 24 hours. The product is OEM approved and non-flammable, with a liquid physical form and anaerobic chemical type. It is used where a reliable, long-term lock and seal is required without disassembling components.
