The Penrite PEN-RUBGR0001 Rubber Grease Red 100g Clay Based is a premium quality NLGI No. 2 general purpose, non-harmful clay-based grease containing castor oil, specifically formulated for applications where contact with natural and/or synthetic rubber is likely to occur. Suitable for automotive, industrial, and consumer rubber parts including hydraulic dust covers, braking system components, seals, washers, gaiters, and boots, it is designed to be fully compatible with rubber seals in hydraulic systems where material compatibility is essential. It is also recommended for use on automotive shock absorbers where resistance to hydrocarbon solvents is required, as a tyre mounting aid, and in the assembly of platen rollers in the printing industry. Note: not recommended for lubrication and protection of brake backing plates and plunger housings. Operating temperature range is -9°C to +80°C.
