The Stemco Axle Nut Pro-Torq Saf Hn is a heavy-duty Pro-Torq axle spindle nut system that secures the wheel end while maintaining precise wheel bearing preload on high-capacity trailer and drive axles. With a 2-5/8"-16 thread and a 3-3/4" eight-point hex, it suits 17,000�22,500 lb Meritor, Dana, Eaton, Standard Forge and Ingersoll axles using HM212049 / HM212011 outer bearing cup and cone sets. The single-nut Pro-Torq design eliminates the need for jam nuts, helping prevent over-tightening and bearing misalignment. Highly visible adjustment marks support accurate back-off settings down to fine increments, while the spring steel keeper locks the nut at any position on the spindle for secure retention. Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this spindle nut offers strong wear resistance and supports accurate wheel speed monitoring on ABS-equipped vehicles. It is suited to truck and trailer wheel end maintenance where consistent bearing adjustment and reliable axle retention are required.
