The Ancra 13mm Transport Chain Grade 70 is a heavy-duty tie-down chain sold by the metre, built for the most abrasive and demanding cargo securement jobs — logs, bricks, concrete, machinery, and other loads that would chew through webbing in a single trip. Manufactured from high-quality steel with an electroplated gold finish, it resists oxidation and corrosion in outdoor and trailer-based use and holds up under repeated tensioning and impact loading. Each metre is rated to a 9,000kg lashing capacity, giving it the headroom to anchor the heaviest legal loads on flatbed transport. Built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001, the standard for Australian and New Zealand chain-based load restraint. Important note: Grade 70 transport chain is rated for tie-down use only and must never be used for lifting applications.
