The Ancra 8mm Transport Chain Grade 70 is a heavy-duty tie-down chain sold by the metre, sized for the everyday workhorse range of cargo securement jobs — general freight, logs, light machinery, and similar loads that demand more strength than webbing alone can give. Manufactured from high-quality steel with an electroplated gold finish, it resists oxidation and corrosion in outdoor and trailer-based use and holds up under repeated tensioning and impact loading. Each metre is rated to a 3,800kg lashing capacity, with applications spanning tie-down and logging across transport and forestry. Built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001, the standard for Australian and New Zealand chain-based load restraint. Important note: Grade 70 transport chain is rated for tie-down use only and must never be used for lifting applications.
