The Bendix E-7 Foot Brake Valve Dual 284760X is a remanufactured dual circuit foot control valve used in heavy vehicle air brake systems. The valve is firewall mounted with a suspended pedal arrangement and provides two separate supply and delivery circuits for service and secondary braking. The primary circuit is mechanically operated through the treadle, pedal and plunger, while the secondary circuit functions in a relay-style using control air from the primary circuit. In the event of a primary supply failure, the secondary inlet valve is mechanically opened via the same pedal linkage to maintain braking capability. This E-7 style unit uses O-ring type ports on the firewall side, with 1/4 inch NPT supply connections on the engine side as specified in the application data. It is supplied as a valve only, without treadle or mounting plate, and includes 10 sealing rings for installation.
