The Penrite PEN-GO851401000LTR Gear Oil 85W-140 Mineral 1000L is a premium heavy duty mineral gear oil formulated with modern extreme pressure additives and friction modifiers, available in a 1000L IBC, and coloured blue for easy identification on the workshop floor. Suitable for both hypoid and limited slip differentials straight from the pack � it contains the correct dosage of limslip additive, eliminating the need for a separate additive in LSD applications. Designed for use in differentials, manual gearboxes and transfer cases across passenger cars, light commercials, 4WDs, and on- and off-highway trucks, construction and agricultural equipment, delivering maximum protection against wear, corrosion, scoring and spalling under heavy shock loads. For competition, consistent high-temperature or extreme high-load use, Penrite recommend the fully synthetic Pro Gear 80W-140 instead.
