The Bendix Genuine R-12 Valve With Bracket 102626X is a remanufactured R-12 air brake relay valve used to speed up application and release of rear service brakes on heavy vehicles. This coreless valve features a 1/2 inch NPT supply port feeding four 1/2 inch NPT vertical delivery ports, with a 1/4 inch NPT control port and a 4 psi crack pressure to provide consistent, predictable operation. The metal body is built to handle high system pressures and continuous duty, and is supplied with a universal or dedicated mounting bracket using .96 x .40 inch slotted holes for flexible frame or reservoir mounting. Operating temperature range is -40 °F to 200 °F, suiting a wide range of on-road conditions. By locating the valve close to the rear brake chambers, the R-12 valve reduces line length and improves response in truck and trailer air brake systems where reliable braking performance is required.
