The Ancra 10mm Winged Chain Grab Hook Grade 70 is a heavy-duty tie-down hook designed to attach to 10mm Grade 70 transport chain assemblies or replace worn or damaged hooks on existing loadbinders. Cradles built into both sides of the outer jaws prevent the chain from deforming under load during tensioning, which preserves the chain's full lashing capacity and extends its service life. A deep, narrow throat lets the hook drop onto an anchor point and seat a chain link cleanly, while the wings give a positive hold that resists accidental release under transport loads and vibration. Manufactured from steel with an electroplated gold finish for corrosion resistance, it carries a 6,000kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001. Note: this hook is rated for tie-down use only and is not suitable for lifting applications.
