The Gates Hose Clamp - S/S 29-44MM 32320 is a Green Stripe silicone hose clamp used to secure silicone coolant and heater hoses on heavy-duty trucks, buses and other vehicular equipment. This size 20 clamp suits hose inside diameters from 25.4 mm to 31.8 mm, with an adjustable clamping range from 28.6 mm to 44.5 mm and a 14 mm wide band to spread load across the hose. The clamp is built from 300 series stainless steel for the band, screw and housing to provide strong corrosion resistance in engine bay and underbody environments. A one-piece band and inner liner help prevent hose cover extrusion on soft silicone hose, while the four-piece mechanical interlock construction supports higher clamping torque. The 5/16 inch hex-head screw with deep slot allows tightening using a screwdriver, nut driver or socket. This clamp is suited to automotive, industrial and marine cooling system service where a secure seal on silicone hose is required.
