The JB Weld Perma-Lock High Strength Threadlocker 36ml JB27136 is a liquid anaerobic adhesive used to lock and seal threaded fasteners in heavy-duty service. Supplied in a 36 ml bottle with a no spill, drip or clog cap, it is applied to 1/4 in to 1 in fasteners on mechanical parts, body assemblies and automotive components to prevent loosening from shock and vibration. The red high strength formulation cures in the absence of air, with a typical fixture time of about 20 minutes and a full cure in 16–24 hours. Once cured, it provides a permanent thread lock that requires heating and hand tools for disassembly. The product has a specific gravity of around 1.2, viscosity in the 400–600 cPs range and is temperature resistant from approximately 0°F to 300°F. It also helps seal threads against leakage and protects against rust and corrosion in workshop, on-road and industrial applications.
