The JB Weld Perma-Lock High Strength Threadlocker 6ml is a red liquid adhesive used to lock and seal threaded fasteners in heavy-duty service. Supplied in a compact 6 ml tube with a no spill, drip or clog cap, it is applied directly to bolt threads before assembly to secure components under shock and vibration. The product is temperature resistant up to 300�F (about 149�C), making it suitable for use on hot running assemblies such as automotive and mechanical parts, body assemblies, rocker arms, stud bolts, frame bolts and other vibration-sensitive fixings. This high strength formulation provides a permanent bond on fasteners typically between 1/4 inch and 1 inch, and disassembly requires the use of heat and hand tools. Before use, threads are cleaned with solvent and the product is shaken, then several drops are applied at the nut engagement area and the joint assembled and torqued as normal without torque compensation.
