The JB Weld Perma-Lock Mid Strength 13ml is a blue, medium-strength liquid threadlocker used to lock and seal threaded fasteners. Supplied in a 13 ml bottle with a no spill, drip or clog cap, it is applied to 1/4 in to 1 in fasteners on mechanical parts, body assemblies and other components exposed to shock and vibration. The formulation provides a reliable lock and seal on rocker arms, stud bolts, frame bolts, bushings, loose screws and other vibration-sensitive items, helping to reduce loosening, leakage, rust and corrosion. Temperature resistance up to 300F (148C) supports use around engines and driveline components, while OEM approval suits professional workshop and fleet maintenance environments. The product cures in approximately 24 hours to reach full strength, yet remains serviceable with standard hand tools for disassembly. Threads should be cleaned with solvent and the bottle shaken before application, then the fastener assembled and tightened to the specified torque.
