The Loctite LOC30015 Loctite 609 Retaining Compound 50mL is a general-purpose, high-strength anaerobic retaining compound designed for bonding close-fitting cylindrical metal parts. Its low-viscosity formula is ideal for locking bushings and sleeves into housings or shafts, augmenting press fits and bonding cylindrical assemblies where a strong, corrosion-free bond is required. The compound cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and provides high shear strength for reliable retention in demanding applications. Loctite 609 is also fluorescent under UV light, supporting quality control during application.
