The shaft tapers down to a mushroom-tipped insertion end that drops into the winch and stays seated through the stroke — the mushroom tip is the critical safety feature that stops the bar slipping out under tension. A steel grip at the other end gives the operator a steady, secure hold, and the 30mm shaft diameter offers enough leverage to apply working tension without flexing under load. Manufactured from chrome-plated steel for corrosion resistance and a long working life.
